Breaking news as I post this:
KING 5 News has learned the controversial anti-religion sign in the Washington state Capitol Rotunda has been stolen. If it's not a prank, that rather proves the point, doesn't it? How hard of a heart do you have to have to steal and try to cheat in the marketplace of ideas?
Update!
The anti-religion sign that disappeared from the state Capitol this morning was dropped off at a Seattle radio station.Ha! It was a prank after all. Faith in humanity restored!
This quote from the same article again sums it up well:
"Most people think December is for Christians and view our signs as an intrusion, when actually it's the other way around," he said. "People have been celebrating the winter solstice long before Christmas. We see Christianity as the intruder, trying to steal the holiday from all of us humans."
